But What About Nicotine-Free Devices?
Freedom from nicotine isn't enough.
Cigarette smokers want freedom from nicotine
without losing the ritual that feels right.
Removing the chemical is easy.
Preserving the familiarity, sensory cues,
and taste that make a cigarette feel like a cigarette is not.
Nicotine-free is easy.
Cigarette-accurate is hard.
RXNICOTINE® was built around what matters most:
a cigarette-accurate sensory experience,
without nicotine, tobacco, or smoke.
The Story Behind RX
In 2010, when the first wave of e-cigarettes arrived, I did what every smoker did. I tried to switch.
I never touched patches, gum, or lozenges. They never made sense to me.
But e-cigs showed me something new.
The inhale. The visible exhale. The ritual.
For the first time, it felt like smoking could evolve.
For a brief moment, I thought that was the answer.
It wasn’t.
I’d use them for a while, get even more hooked on nicotine, then end up right back at the gas station buying a pack.
Too much nicotine. Still not satisfying. Still missing something.
But the first time I tried e-cigs, a thought stuck with me:
This is close. But it’s not right. Someone is going to fix this.
Early e-cigs cracked the door open. They proved smoking didn’t have to stay the same forever.
E-Cigarettes Were a Breakthrough in 2010.
That Was 15 Years Ago.
We’ve learned a lot since then.
For real cigarette smokers, satisfaction was never just nicotine.
It was the ritual. The sensory cues. The feeling that settles your mind.
If that’s true, the experience has to feel real.
Not sweet. Not chemical. Not artificial. Not an imitation.
Looking back, that feeling I couldn’t shake was my gut telling me this problem would be solved.
And something in me knew— It would be me.
The Spark
Photographs of my grandparents, all lifelong smokers.
When I was young, I remember seeing my grandmother on oxygen.
I was told it was from years of smoking.
I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but I knew this wasn’t how life was supposed to look.
Both of my grandfathers were lifelong smokers. I never got to know either of them. Smoking-related illnesses took them early.
Somewhere in all of that, a quiet thought formed:
What if I could actually do something about this smoking problem?
It wasn’t a fantasy. It wasn’t a dream. It wasn’t a hero complex.
It was a raw, early signal.
This problem is massive. It’s hurting people.
What if I could be the one to crack it?
I didn’t know how.
I didn’t know when. But the thought stayed with me.
Despite everything I had seen, I started smoking myself.
That made the habit feel even more off.
I cared about my future, but I was still holding onto something that belonged to my past.
When I finally tried to quit, nothing out there really helped.
RXNICOTINE® is the product I wish existed back then. A way to go nicotine-free without giving up the ritual.
The seed was planted early. It just took time to grow.
